FAQ
How does the free trial work?
Your 14-day trial includes full access to every feature. You can create your account and set everything up straight away. To receive calls you need to add your card to verify your account and activate your phone number. There are no charges during the trial. Billing starts after 14 days if you continue. You can cancel any time before the trial ends.
What payment methods does Operator accept?
We accept all major prepaid, debit and credit cards for online payments, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Operator charges in United States Dollars (USD) across all plans, usage charges and services. Local currency billing isn't available at this time.
Are there any additional usage charges?
Each plan includes a set number of answered calls each billing period. If you go over your included calls, extra calls are billed at your plan’s published overage rate. The overage rate is shown on the pricing page and in your account.
How can I change my plan?
You can upgrade or downgrade between the Essential and Advanced plans any time. If you're on an annual plan, upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades will apply at your next renewal.
What counts as an answered call?
Each plan includes a set number of answered calls each billing period. An answered call is a real customer call that Operator answers and handles. Blocked spam calls, failed calls and very short abandoned calls do not count towards your included calls.
How are live transfers billed?
Live transfer is available on Advanced and Plus. Normal transfer usage is included, and longer or higher-volume transferred calls may count towards a separate transfer allowance. This keeps pricing fair for businesses that mostly use Operator to answer and capture calls, while still supporting teams that need more hands-on call routing.
